Justification
This learning situation is called Emotional self-regulation, feelings and social interaction based on the OrderMay 30, 2023 and it is aimed at students of the second year of the third cycle (11 years old).
The learning situation we're planning will last for six hours. It's crucial to address this topic to promote both physical and emotional health among students, helping them grow in various aspects. The main aim of this learning situation is to encourage group activities that promote cooperation, active listening, living together harmoniously by adequate knowledge of one's own and others' emotions.
As a result of our product we have designed a learning situation that is focused on emotions. We want the students to learn how to control their emotions in different types of situations and be aware of their and others emotions. To do this, we are going to create a series of activities to learn about emotions by watching a part of a film, images and even acting them out among them to see if they have acquired the necessary skills in the different subjects. These subjects are: arts, physical education and natural sciences.
Research shows that controlling contributes to emotional stability and managing emotions when winning or losing in sports, aiming to encourage fair play, respect among teammates, and adherence to rules, as well as self-regulation of emotions.
We are going to use some competences by connecting with art education, developing students' competence in emotional, affective, and social aspects, influencing their overall growth. We also aim to develop the competence in cultural and artistic expressions, build confidence in students' abilities, and enhance their creative expression of ideas, feelings, and emotions through art. In addition, this work will be based on the development of digital competence, as a basis for each of the activities that compose it.
It will also be connected to science, where we will relate what we feel with what happens in our body, explained in a scientific way.
