Didactic Sequence

The method we chose to work with in the learning situation is a heuristic method called Project Based Learning (PBL). We will teach first grade children which means that the teacher provides the problem as well as the processes and the procedures leading to an intended conclusion and we will use the different phases that are a part of PBL.

The final project will be a video in which every student froup will record themselves playing a scene they create using previously assigned emotions for every character in the tape.

The main principles of our learning situation are:

Objectives

1. Connecting previous ideas with new knowledge.

2. Adaptation of the topic to real life.

3. They learn on their own with the teacher´s help.

4. Fostering the student's critical awareness related to the information from outside.

5. Developing the students´ creativity.

6. Offering an active participation.

7. Promoting a confident climate in order for students to feel motivated.

8. Allowing interaction between students and the teacher.

9. Taking into account students´ diversity.
